Miranda, known to our students as Miss Mandy, has been dancing since the age of three and is thrilled to be the new owner and director of the studio in which she grew up. Miranda holds a degree in Business from Hesser College and has previously directed a dance program through the Laconia Parks and Recreation Department as well as spending some time as a professional dancer for the Manchester Wolves. Miranda prides herself on keeping her own dance education current, knowing that the best teachers always have more to learn. In 2012, she was accepted into the very exclusive Rockettes Summer Intensive. Miranda’s training, education, and professional experience all join together to make her the teacher and choreographer that she is. Her pieces have consistently placed in the top ten at the competitions in which they were entered, in addition to being recognized for special awards, choreography awards, judges’ choice awards, and overall high scores. Miranda’s teaching style provides a structured learning environment that makes students feel safe to work hard and explore their creativity, resulting in not only well-trained dancers, but young artists.

Sarah came to us two years ago as a ballet instructor for the older teams and has since taken over the instruction of all ballet classes within the studio. Although Ballet is her first and greatest dance love, Sarah has trained extensively in all styles and graduated from Hope College with a degree in Dance Performance and Choreography in 2014. Sarah has been recognized for her abilities as a leader, teacher, and choreographer. While in college, she directed the school’s production of “The Nutcracker” three times, was cast in dance companies, faculty choreographed dance concerts, and student dance productions. She led several campus dance organizations and was awarded the 2014 DeLong Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance. Sarah has enjoyed growing as a teacher these past few years and has begun to cultivate a teaching style which puts an emphasis on creating strong, healthy, and smart dancers. Sarah has a true passion for dance and nothing means more to her than sharing and instilling that passion in young dancers.
